Thank you for the beautiful pictures! We miss you! Alyssa,
What a pleasure to read about your adventures and see the images of places you've been! Your style always makes me smile because you aren't afraid to be genuine. Thank you for not painting a perfect picture. We have grown to admire your fortitude and perseverance even more than we did before. It won't be long now before we get to see you in more than a photgraph. You are missed beyond words! So get ready for lots of hugs when we pick you up in November! Love you, Momma
I love reading about you Alyssa, I just started my morning out by reading your entire TravelBlog all in one sitting while I drank my cup of coffee. What a wonderful way to start my day. I feel so grateful to get your wonderful words describing all the sites you have enjoyed, but also all the feelings of your ever changing experiences expressed in truth. It is a very delicate balance that you are not privileged to experience right now in your life. It must feel like quite a roller coaster some days with your schedule. I,m praying that all the highs from the people, places, and few quiet times bring you renewed strenght daily. I know you will be forever grateful for these 8 months on the "high seas" and the life lessons. You are God's girl and in his protection daily. He will see you through and give you that delicate balance that only comes from him. We all need it. I love you and miss you like crazy! Aunt Alicia

I hope you are remembering daily how loved and missed you are on land. Never forget how beautiful and special God made you.

The Stories Continue to Amaze! Alyssa,
Being your older generation Mom, you know I'm still learning about Blogs. This is the first entry I've ever done so it's appropriate that it be on your Blog. It is such a joy to continue to hear all the stories about the people you meet and the places you go. Even when you were a little girl, I knew you would go and explore the world. Who would know that by the time you were 21 ( now 22) you would have circumnavigated the globe on a ship, finished college and then begin working on another ship!. Woo Hoo! With all the challenges you face on your job, the gift of being able to keep exploring the world in your work is something to treasure! We are so proud of you!! Luv, Mom
YOU GO GIRL Alyssa, first of all Happy Birthday!! Wow how exciting and very physically and mentally demanding job you have! I was so excited to read this, It makes me feel that you are so close! What great experiences and beauty you will see with this new job. I know that working with the public can be very frustrating at times, but the amazing people you will meet and the lucky people that get to know the "wonderful" you is a blessing to all. I am so proud of all you are doing and all you have accomplished. Life here is busy, Courtney just got done with Classic Basketball and is now in Classic Soccer and still playing some Spring Basketball games also. Oh, Girl Scouts too! She also got nominated by a teacher at her school for the "People To People" World Leadership Conf in Washington DC in 2008, because of her academic achievement. We are so proud of her! We are all busy, JR is working with Les and pursuing becoming a Fireman. I am really busy at work and trying to ramp up my miles running, Angie and I are going to do the Portland Marathon. I am so excited for your mom to do the Triathalon and so proud of her! So have you been running on the deck? God bless and my prayers are with you. Love Aunt Marita
