Hi Byron, great to see you have made it Although I'm sure coming back is quite a change. You do look a bit like someone who has been stranded on an island for 5 years with that beard! Fantastic news about the proposal, of all ways to end the journey that is a good one. Hope to see you some time when you return to the UK. Alastair
I think i missed it... ..the highs and lows of your final leg that is - the proposal (was it really made of a collection of screws?) and acceptance, penguins, glaciers and then the final ending of it all (i am guessing that is the low bit) - what happens next - Africa, Asia? - back to blighty to raise funds for the next trip? - i am dead jealous so when you have some time and inclination, i would love to fill in some of the blanks that i also managed to miss throughout your trip - Eddie

Congratulations on the engagement and the finish of your adventure safely! Next time you roll through Yosemite National Park look us up! P.S. replacing the clutch on my 79 r65 wasn\'t that bad at all!
Wonderful stories and pictures - thank you, thank you! I have really enjoyed reading about your adventures for several months, and am happy to hear you have completed your trip successfully. Having ridden BMW motorcycles since I was a small child with my father and grandparents, your tales have reminded me of all the times traveling across the United States to various National Rallies each summer. The rides were filled with trials, tribulations, elation, glorious scenery, moments of sheer terror, and always, always made for the best road trip stories. This has been such an inspiration, it has re-awakened my desire to be on the road again, and I hope that if you do another trip you will update this page to let us know where to read of your new adventures. Thank you so much for sharing!
Congratulations We feel we have been on an amazing journey with you through this blog.Wonderful adventures and photos.A lifetime of memories. In the spirit of these experiences may the rest of your life together will be a wonderful journey.
Congratulations Good show guys. The memories you'll have of this epic ride will get better and better as the years pass. Your ride tales have certainly "made my day" more than once, and provided welcome chuckle now and again.
Great Stuff Your ride blog has turned our to be a really enjoyable and informative adventure story. It's well worth considering publishing - it's so much better than most of the ride tales on the market. Keep it up and ride safe.

Loved this post Hi guys, really enjoyed this post. Although the San Blas islands look lovely Pete and I are really glad that we are not doing the boat ride as we get so seaside! Think the girls would go a bit stir crazy after 5 days too eh? We are back in Tulum in our fave hotel for 2 nights before we fly home on Weds to the sleet and snow....erk! Looking forward to the next post and hope the bike behaves better in South America... Rach
Hard-core road warriors! What an adventure this has become! Damn the damage to the rim and shock absorbers look bad. Cannot believe you managed to still ride the bike like that for a couple more miles.
“Took a chicken out of her bag and let it fall asleep on her lap” – Ha ha so funny…. Love it!
Enjoy every second out there – It is a cold grey and miserable day in London…
Take it easy guys.
