It was a friend and I who, on a wing, decided to visit the beautiful island of Palawan. Since everyone was either going to their own country/ province for the holiday, it seemed like the perfect time to venture our own motherland. Unfortunately since Palawan is home to the most beautiful beaches in the Philippines, flights were out of our student budget. In our desperation, we decided to take the cheap way, which was though the Super Ferry. For a little over 3000 pesos ($60) we arrived in Puerto Princesa (PP) after literally 30 hours. We departed the port in Manila at 4pm arrived in Corron, Palawan at 6am, then arrived in PP at 10pm. Prior to our departure we booked a place in El Nido.
