Hi Loved your blog on Komodo . I am travelling to Bali later in the year and want to do a side trip to Komodo and Rinca . Can I ask did you prearrange your airfares and hotel in Labuan Bajo also did you prearrange your boat trip before you arrived . loved thailand
Hi Tony and Ruth - Loved Thailand when Tony and I went back in 2002 - so long ago now but I really want to go again one day. Thinking about going to Vanuatu for a couple weeks in July next year. But yep that trip with Tony was an amazing experience. Have a great time you two.

love that turqoise water - bloody didnt see a tropical beach until 2006 at cape tribulation and guess what - it was raining and overcast - cant wait until i can finally go snorkelling on a coral reef - did it on that trip but not near a beach - out on the barrier reef

I really enjoyed reading about your adventures in Vigan. I\'m Filipino American, and my family is from this area. In fact, many of my ancestors (at least 4 generations) are buried in the cemetery you took a picture of. The bell tower you climbed is the Bantay bell tower of St. Augustine\'s church. There\'s an old legend of an apparition of a woman in a white dress that is seen calling people to join her in the bell tower. Perhaps you met her? =)

Really enjoyed reaading your Blog, I wasa just surfing around the net to get some info on the Heysen, looking to walk some of it in April 2012, with my 16yr old Son. Gret pictures too, I don't know how much more of the Hesen you have done since Jan 2009, hope to read some more in the future.
