I really liked that entry. Sorry it took me so long to get to read it! That sounds like an awesome hotel you stayed at and the animal park sounds like so much fun! :-)
Mussels I agree ... listening to Erin when it comes to questions about food is an excellent idea!
Wish I could see Pupu Springs someday -- it looks like it's an unbelievably beautiful spot! :-)

Awesome! Steve and Erin-
I love the pictures from the trip, I love the blog and Congratulations on your engagement!! That is wonderful!! You must be so excited and New Zealand looks so beautiful!! :-) John, Keegan and I are all thinking about you both! :-) Love, Kelly
wow!!! Looks like you had some pretty stunning weather in the pancake rocks picture and the base camp in Okarito. I thought Monteith's was the best beer I had while in NZ. Did you also try Tui? That's what made Jeremy puke until his nose started bleeding... he claims this to be my fault somehow.
woo hoo! yea! i'm so excited for you guys! can't wait to see you after christmas! i want to see more pictures, and of course the canary diamond ring! btw steve, that was a proposal story she'll never forget! :)
love you both!
Nice Travelblog, you guys! Congratulations on the engagement - I think this amazing experience/struggle could prove metaphorical. :) Despite the weather it still looks like the hike was pretty stunning. When Jeremy and Bridget and I went hiking in NZ in 2003, we were devastated by horrible weather and didn't really get to see the views... yet it was still one of the more memorable experiences in my life. Keep reporting on your adventures! Hope to see you both soon.
Congratulations! Dear Steve and Erin, we're so happy for you both! You're definitely starting off on the right foot by beginning your life journey together with the trip of a lifetime! :-)
Congratulations and love from Nan and Mark
Congrats! Congratulations guys! The trip sounds like a lot of fun so far. The pictures look amazing! I hope getting back into the swing of things isn't too difficult.
