Day 3 has been a brilliant day - Up early for my beef noodle soup - we now have a lovely old lady who looks forward to saying good morning and good bye.
We went around the market before going back today as we had time - you will never guess what I saw FROGS who had been skinned and were still jumping errrrrrr. I then saw some fish that were still alive and they kept putting water in which had air being pumped in - how fresh can you get fish.
We got the taxi in to the orphanage and we have a brilliant co-ordinator called Tram (probably spelt her name wrong but will check when we see her later). I have shown her Usian Bolts signature stance and everytime we see each other we do a Bolt, ha ha. she has the most brilliant sense of humour and a great girl.
I have now got used to being in the disabled orphanage and love playing with the kids - I have a few real favourites. I know you are all saying this is not fair but my favourite is Hue who has a really large head
cannot move but he loves me holding his hand and talking non sense anyone who knows me knows I can talk absolute crap but he smiles when I hold his hand and touch his little face so how can I not love someone who takes me as I am. I also asked if I could give him some liquid as he seemed to be really struggling - I asked for some honey sticks which when I used to work in theatre (yes operating theatre - not as a nurse - me, ha ha no working on efficiency and costing - see I was even into this prior to going to the Co-operative, ha ha - they should have used my talents but hey ho - live and learn, babes). They do not have this sort of thing so had to use a baby bottle a drop a couple of drops of water into his mouth - really worried he would choke but seemed to be ok. The other couple of kids I love are a little 16 year old girl who I just love clapping with and she screams like a banchee which winds some of the other volunteers up
but she is enjoying herself so why not. I had to feed a little girl today who had real food ie rice and meat - well all I can say is I made a pigs ear of it we had food everywhere including her ears, hair, floor we had a real giggle as the train kept missing the tracks (i.e. her mouth).
Tram showed us where to go to eat near the market which is her favourite place so we had a go tonight it was good do we know what we ordered, don't be silly at one stage we needed to ask how we eat Mike's meal - we are trying to speak Vietnamese so they love our accents and keep giving us lessons which is fab (make note to oneself do not try to pronounce the letters).
Anyway I am real upset got a pair of trousers today that I negotiated I thought a good price then tried to show the girls where I got them and a lady pulled out some which were the same as mine and offered them half the price - I told them get them that is a good price then had a strop with Mike as I paid double. ha ha
Anyway they have let us take some pictures in the orphanage so hope you like them my fav little boy is not in any of them as he stays in his bed - I will ask if I can take one tomorrow as I would like one for me if nothing else - and also you can see a brave little boy who is an inspiration to us all.
Hope everyone is ok

That's awesome to see you have overcome your uncomfortableness (if that is a word) and are now comfortable. Its great to see you on the mat with the kids and to see Mike with the escapee. The rain has finally arrived here after 6 or 7 long weeks. xxxxxx
