after the overnight flight from mumbai we arrived in singapore at 8.30 am went to the hotel booking desk and booked a hotel near chinatown.
you couldnt get a country that is so different from the one we left, the place is spotless and very very friendly, we booked in and then for a stroll round town, its unbearably humid so a couple of hours of that and we went back to the room to cool down.
went back into town for dinner and ended up on boat quay a fantastic area (bit canary wharfy) of bars and restaurants right along the water, we went for a chinese and a bit of a shock as the fish we ordered was about 32 quid which is probably more then we spent on food the whole time we was in india ... there a photo of the tanks with fish swimming about that you can order and also a picture of toads that you can eat LIVE noy pour moi thank you, didnt see anyone eating that, would have been interesting
