firstly just to say thanks for all your messages, its real nice to hear from you all, it makes us both smile. today we left Khatchanaburi on the bus heading for bankok at 8 in the morning, a journey which only took two hours when coming from bang to khat. but this morning it took 4!!!!!. i was raging out(martin). and for some stupid reason all the drivers just beep their horns every 20seconds. it felt as though our driver beeped everytime he saw i was about to nod off. ha ha. our plan was to go from bangkok to northen chiang mai, but the 10 hour bus journey would have got us there in the early hours of the morning.

after chatting and fannying about we decided to give it a miss and head south to ko samui. thats the great thing about travelling. there are no rules, we're just free to do what ever. so here we are in a bangkok internet cafe, wasting time before our over night bus leaves at 7.30pm (its now 5) arriving in ko samui at 8 tomo morn. we travel down country most of the way, until the 2 hour ferry ride to the island. we've had a crazy first week so i'm looking forward to just chillin on a beach and snorkling in the crystal waters.

we wil keep you up dated with new photo's etc, as soon as we get there and explore!!!!

Hello - wish I was there!!
Hello my little travellers, This is my third attempt at sending you both an e-mail, I beleive my previous two are in your private section! Anyway lovely to see and hear all you've done so far, and so much more to come! You sound as though you've really got into the swing of it already, and are obviously enjoying the experience. It was lovely to hear you ate at the Jolly Frog! so glad it's still going strong and funny to think you might have sat at the same table as me six years ago. Your photo's and e-mails have brought back very fond memories for me. So off to Ko Samui and not Chang Mai, sensible I think, at least your heading in the right direction and will not have to double back, saves time and times precious as Im sure you'll find out. The year will be over before you know it!! Anyway have a lovely time in Ko Samui, I'm sure you will. Take care, lots of love Auntie Sharon xxxx
