My dress
I got a copy of this VERSACE dress made in Hoi An. Beautiful!!!!! We mainly went to Hoi An as we all wanted to get some clothes tailored and were told that it was THE place to get this done! We arrived really early in the morning so we spent the first part of the day surfing through endless websites of celebs to find dresses that we wanted to get made. I found the most beautiful Versace Dress worn by Blake Lively and knew it was meant for me!lol! The tailor i fopund was amazing she sat down with me and designed a version of the dress made with silk and chiffon and it looked beautiful! It was so cheap, only $50 which is around 30 pounds and would be made to fit my shape perfectly! I also decided i wanted to get some high waisted tan shorts and she quoted $15 (how could i refuse). I paid a deposit and was told to come back the next day for my first fitting! So exciting!lol! We rented bikes that day and cycled to the beach! I felt i was getting much more confident on a bike though still had the odd screamming outburst that was porobably quyite unnescarry!haha!but hey that me! The beach was much more beautiful than i thought it was going to be although by the time i got there it was poacked with locals who had just finished work and school so we only stayed for a few hours! On the journey back i thought i was doing so well until we reached our road where the road is being dug up so bikes, motorbikes and pedestrians have to ride on the same pavement! I panicked when a motorbike bibbed behind me and went crashing into a wall, crushing my foot and cracking my big toe as well as cutting my foot! I was not impressed! Sean took my bike back for me while i hobbled, bleeding back to the hostel! But hey, what doesnt kill you makes you stronger, although i do have a deep hatered for motorbike drivers and secretly wish them harm!Only secretly though!lol!
That night we met up with a load of people that we met on the bus overm there was an Australian, two Irish, 2 Germans and 3 English girls! We dound this restaurant that sells beer for 25p (how could we refuse)lol! Lets just say we got a bit sloshed there then headed to one of the only lively bars in Hoi An called Why Not bar! It was quite small but they offered a free jug with every beer bought! Now you would think that these jugs would be weak as they are free but you would be very much mistaken! They nearly blew my head off! The night after that was very messy! We danced on pool tables, met lots of New Yorkers and chased alot of rats! At around 4am me and Katie realised that we were the only ones left in our group at the bar but Katie insisted that she was hungry and could not live without food! So we went on th hunt for a baguette on the back of a motorbike taxi! This must have been the funnioest ride of my life! Katie proceeded to sing Whitney Houston 'I wanna dance with somebody' at the top of her lungs and eventually the motorbike driver who couldnt really spoeak english joined in with her! Hilarious! The only place we could find open was a street stool selling 'Pho' which is traditional Vietnamese noodle soup. This was actually beautiful and hit the stop perfectly!lol! Katie liked it so much she ate her bowl of soup, our friends bowl and two baguette's!hahaha!
The next day i woke up around 1pm and found anote saying that everyone had tried to wake me but i could not be stirred so they had gone to the beach and would be back later!lol! So i had a lovely day sittiong by the pool, reading my book and eating fruit and yogurt! Yum! I went back for my fitting at 4pm with Lisa and my dress was beautiful! Just what i wanted! I made a few minor adjustments to the lenbgth (anyone who knows me knows i like things short!haha!) and i got it back within the hour! I was so happy and i cant wait to wear it in LA!!!!
That evening we went for dinner on a floating restaurant which is on stilts over a river! I rode to it on the back of Sean's bike which was a bit terrifying at first but a lot better than me riding myself afetr my earlier incident with the wall and my foot! The restaurant was so beautiful and the food was yummy!I'm a bit addicted to the Vietnamese soups now and have had one everyday! They are so good! We had an early night as i wasnt feeling that great and we had an early bus to Hue the next morning!
