I've decided not to go into as much detail with this entry, as I think the pictures tell a better story than I do... These pictures were taken as the shop was closing, so all the workers had gone home - but I saw them working when I first got there... just didn't take photos at first....

This house is 200 years old, and has been in this family's possession for 7 generations. It was built by merchants back when Hoi An used to be the most important Vietnamese trading port, due to the Thu Bon river, which is just behind the house. The river later silted up and Hoi An lost its previous importance

Which of course also includes a temple.
