Nha Trang Beach
Wonderful and no crowds..... Our hotel arranged our next accommodation, staying at the Golden Hotel in Nha Trang at a 20%!r(MISSING)eduction.
This takes us nearer to our final destination, Saigon in Vietnam.
Having already checked out at midday, I started to feel ill.
The owner of the hotel kindly insisted that I have a room to sleep in until it was time to leave for our 9.30pm train.
This was at no charge to me! I just can't get over the excellent customer service we have had in all the Vietnam hotels.
England could do with a few lessons on this. We were also lucky enough to have a 4 berth sleeper to ourselves that night.
Enabling me to go straight to sleep and start the recovery process.
Arrived to a free hotel pick up, which was a welcoming sight as I was starting to feel worse.
Soon checked in and was sound asleep within minutes.
For the next 2 days I stayed in bed until I was well enough to go out....
Skim spent a lot of that time catching up with the emails and the blogs.
She was also able
Feeling rough....
Caught a torrid cold.. to catch up on a few movies that were on the movie channel.
Once I was well enough we spent time getting to know the area and checking out the local restaurants.
But within 48 hours, Skim came down with the same thing...
Our plans were to stay here for only 6 days, then finish off with 4 days in Saigon.
Alas, we had to extend our stay for another 2 days so that we could both recover.
Nha Trang was a lovely place, the people were nice and there seemed a lot of trips to the islands on offer.
Unfortunately we didn't get to do any of that, mores the pity....
But we did recover in time for our next part of the journey.........
