Well, Vietnamese overnight trains are certainly something else.... I'm told it's all part of the adventure! Not really is all I have to say about that! For those who haven't had the priviledge, I'll spare you the details, just keep this in mind in case you ever do decide to travel Vietnam.

So, after a very long 14 hour train ride, we arrived to Hanoi, Vietnam's wonderous Capital. Hanoi is everything I've ever dreamt an Asian city to be. Loud, chaotic, full of character, smells (the good, the bad & the foul), touts selling anything and everything and old Vietnamese traditions competing with new age technologies.

No trip to Northern Vietnam is complete without a visit to the beautiful Halong Bay. Here we cruised through some of the 2000+ islands, ate a simply scrumptous seafood lunch, explored the caves and anchored at Cat ba Island for an overnight stay.

We headed back to Hanoi for a final night, before we all departed for home or on our next adventures.

I've had the most amazing 4 weeks here in Cambodia & Vietnam., I have made life long memories & this will be a trip to remember.

xx
