Hey, we had such a great time in Luang Probang, Laos that we havent had time to go on the internet. Thr slow boat from Chaing mai to laos was beautiful and scenic but uncomfortable.

We made loads of new friends and will miss sleepy Laos - Luang Probang is a village not as touched by tourism as the others we've seen. The night market has a great atmosphere and there is a real french colonial feel about it. Lots of coffee shops, baguettes and patissaries.
We would recommend a visit there to any traveller - we would have stayed longer if we could.

Yesterday we flew from Luang probang to Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam. The city is crazy ( not in a good way). The moped traffic is manic - crossing the road is a nightmare!! We will be getting out of here asap. We have booked tickets on the night train to Hue for tommorrow night. It should be more peaceful there. Tomorrow we will check out the museum's here. The history museum and the vietnamese revelutionary museum. Maybe then go see ho chi minh's remains embalmed in the mosaleum.

Happy February to all back home. Hope things are well!! Love and Hugs!! xx
