Got bus to Kanchanaburi with Daniel and Sam. Staying at Jolly Frogs 400 baht for room that sleeps 4, apparently the only room they have available. Hired motorbikes and went to see Bridge over the River Kwai and the Death Railway. We were trying to cross the bridge but the police kept telling us no even though we had seen many other people crossing. We just carried on anyway but the reason was a train was due! They have a special show on tonight, re-enacting the construction of the railway and then the bombing of the bridge. The show was really good and I now understand the story behind the railway and bridge. Will have to watch film at some point.

Me and Dan went to Erawan National Park to see Erawan Waterfalls (7 tiers). Sam not feeling to well. Waterfalls were really nice. We had a swim at the top, slid down the rocks as if they were slides at tier 5 and climbed into the waterfall at tier 2. There was loads of big fish mainly at tier 2 that would nip your legs and feet. The water was very

refreshing. On our return Barry and Elaine had arrived. Sam was feeling worse so Dan took her the hospital, she had food poisoning. Me and Dan went for meal then I went on Internet.

Went to Tiger Temple, were Tigers live at Wat Pa Luangta Bua Yannasampanno Forest Monestry with the Monks. It was 500 baht entrance and you got photos with the Tigers. It was 1000 baht to feed and play with the cubs but that was already full booked. We payed an extra 500 baht to see the Tigers exercise and play in the Canyon. We was in a cage but the front was only waist high. We had 2 Thai's in front of the cage with sticks incase the Tigers came to close. It was good to see but would prefer to see the animals in the wild. On the evening got bus back to Bangkok with Dan and Sam. Checked into Wild Orchid Villa (sister hotel to Sawasdee) 250 baht for single room. Dan and Sam were going to a national park in the morning so they got an early night. Monday 30 November 2009
Had some breakfast and decided to keep room until 18:00 as train was at 19:35. Went to the park and did some weights then to D&D's Roof Top Pool. Ate KFC, Zinger Burger with Mashed Potatoe and Gravy, at train station. Boarded night train to Chiang Mai, 14 hours. Couple in beds opposite me stayed up all night drinking so had to listen to mp3 player all night.
