Flew to Bangkok, and went straight away on the islands for the Full Moon Party in Kho Phangan (big party on the beach all night long, drinking a litre of alcohol in a bucket, dancing until the last taxi boat leaves for Koh Samui around, 7am).
We spent few days in Koh Tao, wild island, full of coackroches (in our room of course!!! Kinga's nightmare, we found 5 of them in the same night) and mosquitos. Good food, hours on the beach, restaurants, alcohol (actually good cheap thai whisky), good atmosphere, felt like home at the hostel, didin't get that much sleep (we stayed awake for 72 hours), met great people, diving, thai massages, strip poker, midnight bath in the sea, bread fight, sleeping in a hammac, and eating the banana&Nutella's pancakes from the fast hand man...Just unforgettable.
Travelled to Koh Phi Phi (7hours by boat which looked like a refugee boat, 5hours by bus) , never found the legendary beaches but we tried very hard and walked a lot, Kinga got sick (Everything you can imagine, Still fancy Thai food Kinga??), very touristic, good shopping (not good for our budget!!!)... Just forgettable!!!.
Travelled by bus to go
to Bangkok (13hours by bus, funky one), first impression: dirty and smelly town!!!, went for a morning coffee (waitresses desperatly looking for an europeen, rich husband), spent most of the time in the main street Khaosan, drinking (in buckets again!!!), found Marie's future husband in a pub called The Roof (he was a guitarist with magic fingers!!! but never got a chance to try!!!my loss), climbing on hostels' roofs and spent nights there, intensive price's negociations with Tuk Tuk drivers (cheeky bastards!!!), pretended to want expensive dresses and suits for our imaginary boyfriends and us in tailor's shops for the French embassy party in Australia (which doesn't exists, it was just for fun!!).
A part from the drinking and the party, we visited few temples, museum ("Nadege get out of this museum, it's been 5hours and we're waiting!!) , went for a boat trip on the river, went for a safari (boat rafting, elephant riding, water fall, Kwai river seen from the oldest rail of Thailand, met some funny Thai scout's boys on the train, and flirted with our minibus driver who didn't want to let us go). We had a beauty session (wax, facial masque, massage...)...Just smelly but
