We land to Melbourne, stay there few days and took a boat to Tasmania for 6 days. We went to St Helens first, stayed in a campsite, had a freezing night in our new tent. St Helens, good place for retired people and fishing, which we didn't know. The next day we decided to leave for Hobart (Capital of Tasmania). We hired a car to travel to the west, where the national parks are. Because of our very very short budget, we decided to sleep in the car for 4 nights, not really confortable!!! We spent 4 days hicking in 4 different parks, no nights out at all, bedtime: 10.00pm, no alcohol...It's not like us!!!! but it was great. Flew to Bangkok, and went straight away on the islands for the Full Moon Party in Kho Phangan (big party on the beach all night long, drinking a litre of alcohol in a bucket, dancing until the last taxi boat leaves for Koh Samui around, 7am). We spent few days in Koh Tao, wild island, full of coackroches (in our room of course!!! Kinga's nightmare, we found 5 of them in the same night) and mosquitos. Good food, hours on the beach, restaurants, alcohol (actually good cheap thai whisky), good atmosphere, felt like home at the hostel, didin't get that much sleep (we stayed awake for 72 hours), met great people, diving, thai massages, strip poker, midnight bath in the sea, bread fight, sleeping in a hammac, and eating the banana&Nutella's pancakes from the fast hand ... read more

Quick stop before the real trip, we stayed with a friend Audrey, only have time to have a look around but only by taxi as Dubai don't know what a footpath is!!!, going to a desert safari (4x4 crazy trip, camel riding, chicha and belly dancers...very good). ... read more
