Abrupt Re-entry

The problem with flying on "unscheduled" and waitlisted flights is that they may come available very quickly and when you least expect it. Thus, we disembarked from Bangkok two days after an earthquake rocked our destination city of Taipei and a day before the world learned of more violence in Bangkok.

For all of you following our story, we are safe and away from Bangkok and are only now learning of the bombings which have shaken my beloved city.

News stories have reported eight bombs so far...
We are watching and praying for our friends...
