After a couple of days shopping, shopping, shopping in Bangkok, we decided to leave the rat race and head down to the Kanchanaburi Province. Needless to say, it was our favourite place on earth and here's why...

Now begins the best part of the journey...
Here starts our adventure to the "Tiger Temple", where buddhist monks care for various animals...like these!
...and here's what we came for!!
Our first up-close experience was with this gorgeous little cub - they currently have 2 at the temple.
Then out come the big cats!!
Although this guy's just a teenager...!
And this is the guy who owns the place!
Just checking out one of his wards!!
A bit aprehensive!!
This was our first time actually touching the tigers...by the end we were hugging them!!
Then we tried to take one for a walk...
but he didn't want to cooperate!!!
