Don't ask me which island is the best in Trang, as I was only here to spend a few relaxing days before heading back home to Hongkong. Not a big fan for beaches and islands myself, and travelers mostly for transit to one of the many island from Trang...so...another one night stand city! Although there wasn't much outstanding sights in town, but the lively market, colorful street, and the town is famous for the dimsum and crispy roasted pig. A short train ride will bring you to the quiet old port town Kantang, where stood and beautiful old style station at the end of the railway. Also a nice little museum could be visit. 10km from Trang is the Peninsular Botanic Garden where you can trek on the well paved trail in the swamp forest, and the main attraction there is to get on the canopy walkway!
