Well after all that stress chilling out in Ko Phan Ngan we set off for more stress on the beaches of railay, yep more coconut shakes and layzing around on beaches.

The journey to Krabi treated us to some shitacular movies which i really wanted to sleep through, the first film being cellular and the second being the new pink panther and both were embarrisingly bad. Anyway we decided to stay the night in Krabi and then set off the next day for Railay. We checked into a cockroach infested hostel and watched rubbish thai TV with hilarious travel programs.

The next morning we awoke and got the boat to get to Railay we passed some amazing scenery it really was spectacular and i have never seen anything like it. Limestone cliffs just dotted around the ocean it really was a sight to see. Unfortunately our arrival wasnt on a red carpet but as there was no pier we had to wade through the muddy water and dodge millions of crabs underfoot and one slip and we were on our arse with our bags and clothes and camera etc etc etc soaked and muddy. Fortunately our balance held

this was what we had to wade through.....bare in mind the tide was in:( oh well at least the scenery was nice
and we made it to shore. Our next problem was finding a hotel or shack or whatever we could find to sleep in but wherever we went it was either fully booked or extortionately priced. Eventually we found a very nice place which was reasonably priced which was the most important thing.

Anyway after a good kip we went out to a few bars for a few casual drinks and a free bbq which i didnt venture into due to the meat looking a bit suspect although Paul had no problems tucking in. A few white russians later and we started noticing the funny people in the bar, the most memorable was a father with his daughter about 15-16 and his two sons who must have been about 10 and 13 and the kids really didnt want to be in this shitty bar let alone with there father, i really wanted to go over there and help him out and challenge them to a pool competition as i felt so sorry for him as he must have tried to think of fun things to do for them and having no clue that it was awfully embarrasing for the kids. But i didnt, due to the fact we decided that hearing black eyed peas for the 4th time that night it was time to move on! The next bar we went to was really good and layed back and played some good music.

The next morning i awoke fresh as a daisy and went to the beach which was fun as we just once again threw the ball around and dived into the waves. Not much else to speak of that day.

We decided the next morning to go sea kayaking, bad idea it was very windy and wioth three of us in a two man kayak with only two paddles it was pretty obviouse we were going to tip over every few seconds and be exceptionally hard work for the paddlers ie me and paul. We finally made it round to the over cove and decided we would probably died on the way back so we left laura to stroll around and me and paul to take back the kayak and surprise surprise it was really easy. Overall the kayaking was fun until we nearly died capsizing near some jagged rocks.............but we survived to tell the tale
wowwowwow

one of the most beautiful sights i have ever seen.
so nothing lost there only experience gained😊

The next day we did the usual lounging around and got caught in some pretty damn heavy rain where i got soaked through and the locals found it funny me dredging back through it like a dround rat.

Anyway Krabi/Railay was spectacular and the highlight of my trip to thailand. With that in mind on we went to Malaysia
