The beach part of our trip! We arrived around 11 am so we have total 2.5 days of beach! The first afternoon (25th) we just went to the beach and relaxed. It's less than 5 minutes walk from our hotel (J. Mansion Guest house) and was basically deserted! Everyone goes out to the surrounding islands so the beach here is empty. It was incredibly hot! No, really, I've said hot before, but this was HOT! We couldn't even lie on the beach for very long because it was too hot. And we could feel our skin burning off. The water is even warm!

Today (26th) we went on a full day trip to a couple different islands. We went snorkeling in Lohsamah Bay then played frisbee at Maya Bay (where the movie The Beach was filmed). Then lunch at Tonsai Bay on Phi Phi Island and afterwards a delicious peanut butter banana smoothie. Then more snorkeling and swimming and relaxing at Bamboo Island before returning on our boat to Ao Nang (Krabi Town). Good day! The snorkeling was good; we saw some massive urchins that looked extremely sharp! Not as good as Australia, but nothing is and I love snorkeling so I'm happy! It wasn't as hot as yesterday, but still hot enough!

Tomorrow we're hanging out around Krabi: maybe exploring a Muslim town, beach, wandering, eating, relaxing...
