Heeeelllllooooooo everyone!

So, the first blog...

Flight to Bangkok was ok - very long with little sleep. We then got on a prop plane to go from Bangkok to Koh Samui, however, 10 minutes into the flight we hear it backfire and have to turn around due to "technical problems"...hmmm, not sure whether the plane needed fuel ooor if the panel that had come off the engine cover had caused it... still, we arrived a bit late, but still in one piece! Also met one of the DJs for the full moon party on the plane (Ross).

Checked our stuff in in Koh Samui (Hi Coral Cove) and went straight out. We got dropped off in the quietest part of town and were about to give up and go back home when we got dragged into Honey Bar :-D and were told how to get to the busy area. Quick cab ride there, couple of drinks and an awesome night! We only left town at 7am - right after a tropical storm, still drunk and jet lagged and got a dodgy little moped ride back to the hostel - which was great fun!! Slept at most 2hrs and

Boat ride to koh pagnan

had to check out and go straight to the boat to go to koh phangan. Have never felt so rough in our lives leaving the hostel - which wasnt really helped by the rocking of the hour-long boat ride! Met a couple of cool girls waiting for the boat (lucy and hayley).

On phangan, straight to the hostel (Phangan beach resort), girls got the bungalow next to ours and we just passed out for 4hrs in a suprisingly comfy bed. Were waay to tired to go out so all had dinner and just chilled on a swinging bench on the beach with a few beers and the grils - cant do that in England!!! Feeling much more refreshed today so going to chill on the beach for a bit then head into Had Riin tonight, check out what koh phangan has to offer!

We are here for 5 days so the next blog will most likely come after the full moon party.
