Full Moon

Well it is the full moon party!!!

Arrival to Koh Phangan was a bit of a let down. After the seeming luxury of Koh Tao we now resided in a sweat box, more apptly desrcibed as a glorified tent. And were in the middle of no where - something that actually came as a blessing when trying to recover from the full moon party!!!

Our only reason for visiting Koh Pangan was the full moon party. Very famous in these parts and definately lived up to the hype!! It was about 20,000 people crammed on to a beach, lots of loud music and alcohol at very cheap prices sold by the 'bucket'. All the components of an amazing party. Yes we got drunk, yes we got painted and no I (H) couldn't quite stay up to see the sunrise - there's that beauty sleep again and I didn't want to join those who had crashed where they danced on the beach!!!

Rest of time spent recovering - those buckets are lethal! and shopping as John was getting haggling withdrawl symptoms. Also managed to start on the tans!!

Next destination - Koh Samui.

Well what can I say; Hannah and I have taken leave of our senses, rented our house out and taken a career break around the world. We started off from London Heathrow in April 2006 with two one way tickets to Bangkok, Thailand! Thats all that was booked! The plan (very loose, if you can call it a plan) was to start at Thailand and progress to Singapore, Oz, New Zealand, USA, Canada or something like that - we’ll see what happens! ... full info
