Koh Samui & Full Moon Party

Hi All

Things had been quiet here until we hit the full moon party- Firstly we arrived to Koh Samui last Friday after 51hours of travelling it was long as you can imagine- We were booked into little beach huts in Bop Phut beach which is about 4km away from Chaweny we where glad to get there and have a few days rest before the full moon party-

When we arrived we where told that they had changed the full moon from Tuesday to Wednesday due to some relgious buddha thingy so we had to change our whole plans which meant we would have to leave the full moon party get a speed boat back tp Koh Samui then go straight to the airport (as our flight was at 9am thursday morning) in very bad shape as you can imagine!!!! So we stayed in Koh Samui until Tuesday all we basically done was sunbathe, sleep, wiggy & phil ate ate & ate again and drank- goodtimes. We frequented another Irish bar (surprise surprise) everyday for food and drink- think the boys will take an allergc reaction if we don't find an irish bar in each place we visit!!

So Tuesday morning we were all set for fullmoon on Wed when we where told that they had changed the fullmoon back to Tues so off we headed for Koh Phangan to rave the bit out- we where glad it was changed back as it gave us all day wednesday to recover & make our way back to koh Samui.

Stayed in lovely little beach huts in Koh Phangan- we met up with Nicky my friend from Ibiza & his mate and headed off to fullmoon with 2 new adopted irish called Laura & Eve who where from holland - we changed Eve name to Aoife to make her sound more irish lol!! Once we arrived at full moon first stop was the bucket stall buckets vodka,redbull for 6euro goodtimes- then we bought some UV Glow paint and covered ourselfs in it like lunatics (i will attach pics later) Basically the fullmoon is a session once a month on Haad Rin beach it has loadsa bars & each bar plays different music styles- its backed with thousand of backpackers who all MAD for partying-there is also the renowned mushy mountain where you can go sample "special Shakes" of course none of us sampled them with there was some messy heads about!! if you where brave enough there was also a skipping rope which is on fire and u jump through & other dare devil games- fullmoon doesnt really have a finish time think we where home about 7 - yesterday Wednesday we where all seamused we came back from Koh Phagan went to the Irish bar (shocking) and got food and were in our beds by 9pm!

We now in Bangkok caught a flight at 9am this morning. Flute & Phil gone on to Sydney we in bangkok for 2days of rest & relaxation- although our hotel is a bit of a kip- then on Sat we head to Sydney yippeeee- hopefully we will make the Super Sunday Session in T-gardens.

Will blog from Sydney once i get settled.
