Entrance and visitor center only seen. Unfortunately, there was a very tragic death of a German tourist, who was warned by Thai park staff to NOT explore the trails, waterfalls due to the excessive rainfall, dangerous flash flood warnings, and release of the dam. So sad. Fortunately, there were still other adventures that we could safely embark on, in which we did, thank goodness!

We stayed in this tree house and the another during our visit to Art's riverview lodge. it was very rustic with open windows and cold showers (buuurrrr!!!) however, we enjoyed it very much

Rob was journaling on the balcony overlooking a river to our left and the jungle all around us. it was a beautiful morning as the sun finally peaked through.

Stayed here overnight, on a floating bamboo raft house. You can see there is a nice open area in the back of this house. Well, we thought that all of the raft houses had this open area. Nope, we were wrong. We were the only ones to have such a nice natural air conditioner! We discovered this when we went kayaking around on the lake, after seeing wild monkeys. Quite amusing!

hehe! We explored this amazing cave, with a small group, after hiking through the jungle, then riding on a bamboo floating raft, to this beautiful treasure.

So amazingly tranquil and peaceful. No electricity here, only generator which runs from 6 pm to midnight. So, there are beautiful lanterns lit in front of each rafthouse.

We stopped at this waterfall for a break from elephant riding and Rob enjoyed a quick swim in the water.

Our elephant, Speckles was so friendly and gentle. His skin was very warm and dry, with some course short hairs.
