Well, that day is finally here. It's is the last day of our trip. Last day to relax, last day to enjoy and then its back to the grind...
So, we did it right. Slept in, had a nice leisurely breakfast, then got seats on the beach and only moved for food, bathroom breaks, and dips in the water. It was a lovely day, really.
We had lunch at a place on the beach in the other direction than we have gone. It was actually this old boathouse that was built after the tsunami, based on donations, to rebuild boats for fisherman who lost theirs, and their livelihood, in the tsunami.
The rest of the day was packing, and finishing books. We ordered in dinner and just enjoyed the last of the honeymoon....
The next day or two or three (time gets lost in the air) was spent traveling home. First Phuket to Singapore, then Singapore to Taipei, then Taipei to LA, then LA to Seattle. It was quite the journey, but it was a journey in style. From Singapore to LA we flew on Singapore Air's 777 ER with the beautiful, huge, fancy lie flat seats
(like the A380, but 4 inches smaller - we are so spoiled), and two full 3/4 course meals (Dinner & Supper). We spent a night in LA - but got a delicious dinner at In & Out out of it...then finally landed in good ole Seattle at about 1:40pm on Friday.
Thanks for following along our journey with us - 25 days, 11 flights, 5 countries, 1 awesome honeymoon!!!
