Chang Mai, North of Bangkok

We arrived in Chang Mia via a suprisingly very clean and comfortable 13 hour sleeper train. We decided to give train food another chance after our Indian experiences and we were very glad too. Thai food is amazing, even on a train!

Chang Mai is quite a large city (for Thailand) and full of western influences, food, drink and Lots of touristy entertainment. We met a few nice couples at the hotel we stayed at which was under budget at 400 baht (8quid) a night and even had it's own pool!! 'SK house 2' for anyone going.... Lots of good resturants and bars/pub style places to shoot some pool and drink beer towers.

We stayed 4 nights in Chang Mai and decided to make the most of it and book a few trips. We went to see the tigers at Tiger temple (run by Buddist Monks), Elephant trekking, Bamboo rafting, Waterfall trekking, Absailing and ZipLining in the Jungle Canopy. All very cool... enjoy the pictures!
