Chiang Mai is a base for really good trekking in Thailand. We went on a 3 day trek to the mountains and hill tribes.

There was one other couple on the trek with us called Stuart and Emma. We ended up making really good friends with them - top notch people.

We stopped at this waterfall for lunch and a shower! But it was COLD!

Our guide Jackie cooked up an amazing noodle lunch by boiling water in bamboo over a fire, it was unbelievable how resourceful he was.
