I got to Libra around 10, and found a girl from England (Kate) who was in the same boat as I; she, too, wanted to hook up with a trek and was traveling alone. After we agreed to join up with the trek, we headed over to the day market. Again, it was about the same as all markets so we didn't spend too much time there.

In the evening, myself, two Aussie girls (Kas and Jo), and a South African named Jean Francoise (he made sure to introduce himself by both names.... tool) went out to dinner at an Indian place. The food was excellent, but Kas was still recovering from an illness so she wasn't feeling too great. Anyways, we decided to rent a car the next day and go to Doi Inthanon, a national park that has the highest waterfall in Thailand. After dinner, I met a girl from Holland named Marieke, and we went out for a few beers before heading to bed. She was also planning on going with us, both to Doi Inthanon and on the trek...
