The Terry Fox Run in Chiang MaiThe Terry Fox Run in Chiang Mai
The Terry Fox Run in Chiang Mai

the terry fox run at the ungodly hour at which we had to be there by. notice the moon is still up and it's still fully night time! it was funny though cause thai men can somewhat pull off wearing short shorts cause they're small and basically have a minimal amount of leg hair. but to see a big beastly farang (foreigner/white person) doing this is unsettling!

Muay Thai

The night that was thai boxing. . . a few weeks ago as mandy and i ventured out to the ring, drank some beer and hung out with the gamblers. anyways this is a picture of the actual fight; which after a while i didn't pay too much attention too!

Me and Mandy

That same night as the muay thai although many an hour later!!

Willow Tree

The art exhibition that i went to after the terry fox run. the university's (or maybe the city's i dunno) art gallery is right across the main street that i live off of. these pictures were an exhibition of students from chinese, vietnames, laotion and thai univerisities. This's one's called the willow tree

The title of the above picture

I forget the title of this one; which sucks cause i think it had a pretty good title.

The Akha gateThe Akha gate
The Akha gate

I think i maybe forgot to put this into the entry about the village visit. but it's essentially a characteristic of every Akha village; a gate (although i saw two) at the entrances to the village. they are extremely important and none one can touch them.

A crazy bug that Heather found at the Lisu village a couple of weekends ago
