Its time for the Land Down Under

Current Mood: What a ride.

Well well well i couldnt resist one final spat of writing whilst in Asia as i can imagine when im in Oz working the stories will deminish slightly!!! or not!!!

As you will all know by now I travelled through the last part of my asia adventure with my good buddies Pierre and April leaving them in Bangkok as they were flying to the UK! When they left i sorted some stuff out and pretty much spent the next few days just chilling out in a room above a Mu thai gym so my early wake up calls were the sounds of somebody having the life kicked from them!!

Now the Koh San road is great fun but after a few days Bangkok begins to seem small and clostrophobic which is never what anybody wants! Luckily for me i have a friend out here (Christine) that i partied with in Laos who invited me down to pattaya for a few days of chilling out! Unsure of my money situation and looking into moving flight schedules i woke one morning thinking the best idea and the more fun option would be to go and meet up with her!!

Well on route to the bus station in one of the best tuk tuks ive ever been in i recieved a call from her saying how where she was staying is a little cramped but has arranged an apartment to which i would only need to cover water and electric!! I was chuffed like but on arrival in Pattaya and wondering around trying to find the place i found the apartment to more than i had ever expected!

This place has mod cons i dont know how to use!! i Have a balcony..... a fridge... Cable TV... a coffe perculator type thing....... a kitchen..... an onsuit walkthrough bathroom from bedroom to living room..... Air con....... a fan....... its platinum Plus plus guys!!! Well over whelmed she said follow me to read the meter so up we went to get keys from her room on the roof where there is a roof top Pool fpr all of the guests!! Ahhh jese this gets better!!! I was worried like so asked are you sure this is so cheap and she explained that the electric and water is all i need to pay and for the week this will come to around 200-300 bht!!! Babe you have done me proud!!!

So me in my Pad im all abit confused!! So i get shaved and showered and meet Christine for some food in a local English run Bar Restaurant where we meet some of the Campest lads ever!! after a propper laugh i retire and hit the hay as its been a long few days!!

In the morning i decided to get up and sort myself out!! so out i go to change flight bookings allowing me to still see New Zealand in June and then meet Christine to go shopping!!!

OOOOOh tescos and cornflakes!!! After a massive walk.... a wicked Shop and a taxi ride later im at home tooking in to food that i have in my own Kitchen!! this is class!! i love it!! for a mere 800 bht im fed for more than a week and accomidated!!

So for the next few days i just simply relaxed having a swim and internet job hunting for when i arrive in Australia!

Guys....... This is the end of Asia! I have had the most thrilling time meeting guys and girls with very different and very similar interests!! to all that i have met on route thank you loads for you help.... the drinks... the laughs and the package we call travelling!!! for the guys at home who mail me daily... send there love and keep me going, i really appreciate your support!!

To Jodie, Kieran, Ashley, Danielle, Harry, Melissa, Sam, Aaron, Zac, and Calum dont ever think ive forgotton about you!! when im in Australia ill have a phone number that i can be intouch with you on every week!! I miss you guys more than anybody!!! Your big brother Niki!!!

To my friends......... Get your asses out here if you arnt already!!! Thanx to Christine for the last week of asia!! your a star!

Dad and Deb ....... You both have done me proud helping me when things are shit and need sorting!! thanks for you time and efforts in reading each blog and keeping me going like you do!! Love you both lots!!
