Baiyoke II
Enjoying a complimentary beer at the skybar...The world's tallest hotel. Bangkok, Thailand. The building is about 309 metres tall, or the height of 182 people standing one on top of the other. There are 2,000 steps from the bottom to the top, it takes over one hour to walk to the top (or 1.5 minutes in the lift!). The building has 1,740 window panes and the foundations are 65 metres deep.
I picked what turned out to be an over-hazy day for a trip up to the top. Not sure if this is weather related or just pollution, maybe a bit of both ! Anyway, not too much of my usual ramblings to be read here today, just some slightly dissapointing pictures for your enjoyment !!
