Finally arrived in sunny Thailand this afternoon after visiting dubai (sandy) and spending over an hour more than i wanted to in thailand's new airport, our bags got buggered somewhere along the line. however, good news, i am alive and just about kicking. got onto a bus for the backpacker ghetto of khao san road, and believe me it is a ghetto, and met a nice guy called Fran who happened to be from Alt-Yr-Yn in newport. world is a small place i guess. checked into the same hostel as him, not too bad, i seem to be the only living creature in my four quid room.

mum and dad, this may come as a bit of a shock to you, but i think i am turning gay. the only way to clean your arse is to either use your fingers, or blast away with a hot jet of water to clean the rusty sherrif's badge. i have found the latter quite pleasurable. couple this with the fact that a lot of the women are gorgeous and most have to be men, i think i will have to come out when i come home 😉

apart from that, not much is happening. no photos as i'm too busy setting a world record for the number of 'no thank yous' in one day. i have been offered 'sucky-fucky', 'ping pong' (you can see where that one heads) and a number of suits and general shit. people do seem to be very nice though, which is more than i can say about my first foray into food over here. i took the safe option and went for a cheeseburger (i have to break myself in easily). after waiting 30 mins, i recieved what looked like a burger but certainly wasnt one. i have no idea what i just ate, but it wasnt pleasant and tasted like nothing i have ever tasted before. i have a sneaking suspicsion that if i ever ate Zippy or Gizmo, they would resemble my dinner tonight. the upside was that it only cost 4 quid for a meal (termed loosely) and 2 fine beers.

nothing more to add really, except its so damn humid i was feeling a little too close to tipsy after two tigers. hope everyone is ok back at home, or wherever you may be.

over and out
phileas fez (see what i did there)
