Hey everyone, well we have had a very busy few days!!

Started off with what we stupidly believed would be an easy border crossing from Poipet in Cambodia into Thailand. We took a taxi to the border strolled over and got stamped out of Cambodia. The place didnt look too busy,we walked across no mans land and reached the queue to cross into Thailand. We waited over 3 hours in the heat to get inside, when we eventually got insde it was mayhem no proper lines just hundreds of people trying to get across the border we waited another 2 hours in crazy heat here too. When we finally got across we got a minivan to Bangkok and then the tuk tuk couldn't find our guest house we were defo tired n emotional haha

We eventually got to wendy guesthouse in bangkok which was grand....tiny room for a crazy price but it did include brekkie and we were now staying in the nicer side of Bangkok beside the MBK shopping centre. We spent our time in Bangkok roaming around the shops, Ian got a hair cut and we also took the Sky Train to the weekend chatuchak market which was HUGE!!! We had a map but pretty sure we only saw half of it, they sell EVERYTHING here from your usual souviners, clothes to electrical goods and even cats and dogs!!! We had very sore legs after hours and hours of walking around so we treated ourselves with a trip to the cinema that evening to see Taken 2 which was brill except for the beginning when we had to stand for the Kings Anthem!! (very random) apparently if you don't stand you can be arrested!

We have arranged a bus/ferry to take us to Koh Tao tomorrow night which should be another fun trip!

More about that in our next entry :p

Laura & Ian xx
