Hello guys,
I have been lucky enough to be in Thailand when the Tattoo festival was on at Wat Brang Pha. This temple is famous for the fact that you can get tattoo by monks (religious tattoo obviously!).
Once a year, there is a special ceremony to recharge the power of the tattoo and protect the wearer.
The ceremony starts at 9.39am, but it's better to go there early to find a nice place to see everything and to enjoy the show before the ceremony. And it's worth it. Some of the people are "possessed" by their tattoo. So what you see is people acting like a monkey, a tiger or any animal they've got tattoo. And that is quite impressive (as you can see on the video!)
When they're "possessed", they don't see what's around them and just run or go straight without carrying who's in front!
That was a fun and exciting experience!
Next post I'll told you about the kite festival I've been, which was really good as well (but less scary!).

J'ai eu la chance d'être en
Thaïlande, lors du festival de tatouage au Wat Pha Brang. Ce temple est célèbre car vous pouvez vous faire tatouer par des moines (tatouage religieux, bien évidemment!).
Une fois par an, il ya une cérémonie spéciale pour recharger la puissance du tatouage et de protéger le porteur.
La cérémonie débute à 09h39, mais il vaut mieux y aller tôt pour trouver un endroit agréable pour tout voir et de profiter du spectacle avant la cérémonie. Et ça vaut le coup. Certaines des personnes sont "possédées" par leur tatouage. Donc, vous voyez des gens agir comme un singe, un tigre ou tout animal qu'ils ont en tatouage. Et c'est assez impressionnant (comme vous pouvez le voir sur la vidéo!)
Quand ils sont "possédés", ils ne voient pas ce qui est autour d'eux et ils courent droit devant sans faire attention s'il y a quelqu'un en face!
Ce fut une expérience amusante et excitante!
Le post suivant sera sur le festival de cerf-volant ou j'ai été et qui était vraiment bien aussi (mais moins effrayant!).
