Bangkok
Main bangkok river. What you can't see is the dozens of jandles that float by every minute.
Bangkok
Pretty typical shack on the river. 30 years ago the government banned building over the river, but allowed current buildings to stay. So any building that is over the river today is at least 30 years old.

Lizzy
On the river tour we stopped at a animal farm, where some of the animals were kept in appaling conditions. This fella had it nice compared to some of the others.
Tiger
...like this tiger. His enclosure would have been maybe 50 sqm.
Snakey
We also got treated to a snake thingy show. ugh..snakes.
Boat engine
This was a typical engine for the river boats they use to ferry people. Yes, that is a big horey turbo with a big horey intercooler.
Shrine
One of the literally thousands of religious buildings dotted around the town.
Maccas
Whilst I did have some roadside traditional thai meals, We couldn't resist some western food. We were a cutural bunch.
Sunset
Chacha, Andrew and Mel chilling by the river at sunset. We were leaving for london in about 3 hours.
