New Joes Guest House.... Day one!

Finally here! We made it.
The flights were ok... I slept the majority on the time - ocassioanly waking to the smell of another curry...
Robin struggled to sleep and by the time we arrived here in Bankok was absolutely shattered... On Cat's recommendation we got a taxi from the airport - a VERY scarey experience - where the taxis over took buses on the inside on a hard shoulder of a six lane motor way - but we got here to new joes guesthouse - dumped our bags and had a nice cold beer and a pad thai each.... we then managed to get a good few hours sleep before having a bit of a mooch -(and some more pad thai) along khao san road.

its very hot and busy and noisy here - we are looking forward to escaping - we are currently working out an escape plan looking to head north up to chang mai -

missing everybody lots - keep us updated on what you lot are all doing too!!!!
