so today i was leaving Chiang Mai and flying to Bangkok to meet Ange, but b4 i did this i went down for breakfast and Ping Pong was there already tucking into her left overs from last night - pork and cabbage soup. I was offered some but felt my fresh fruit with yoghurt and musili was far more appealing.
I then went up the mountain and visited the most famous temple in Chiang Mai, Dio Suthep - its really beautiful with 306 steps leading up to it !!! lots to see in and around it. it was the first temple that didnt have dogs running around inside, i guess theyre too lazy to climb up !
one and a half hours of wlking around and a glass of refreshing jasmin tea later, and it was time to decend the 306 steps. Where Tom one of the staff from the guesthouse was waiting to take me straight to the airport. There as you already know i had the pleasure of a bit of pampering, tea and cake ... yum yum ........ started talking to a girl from Stafford until it was time to board. and do you know i didnt even ask where the air stewardesses wound be in relation to my seat .. its amazing i feel like paul Mckenna must have been to see me and i cant remember !!!!
lovely flight, only 75 mins long but they still gave us something to eat ......... then landed , well clearly we did !!!!
waited for Ange for about an hour at our appointed rondevous and then she was there before me !!! we ran into eachothers arms and i'm sure i heard an ahhhhh from one of the security guards !!!
so off we went, with Ange bragging about her bag only weighing 10kg and me with my 14.8 kgs but i'm sure the 4.8kgs are all prescents !!!
then we got into a barbie pink taxi and headed off to our hotel , the taxi driver got lost naturally, and didnt know how to use his mobile to call our hotel . he had to ask someone how to use it .... bless
arrived back at the same hotel i was at b4 and theyve upgraded us to a room with a big tv and private luxurious bathroom, were in a double bed so i'll let you know if theres a duvet war !!!!
then off to Khao san rd ....... had something to eat and Ange was made-up as she had her first genuine green thai curry 😊 i'm more of a pad thai girl with the compulsary mango sticky rice of couse .... yummy
we then had a foot, leg and shoulder massage that was very vigourous to say the least, Ange said it was like being married the first time around ..... very painfull !!! and she expected the woman to say "vee have vays of making you talk" and she said she would have told her anything !!
i think it was more like a thai massage than the ususal relaxing one.
were now back at the hotel and Ange is nxt to me - she's been trying to down load her photo"s and she's just broken her memory card so all the photos from today are lost so she's a tad miffed !!!
off to bed tomorrow = weve booked a guide to show us around as much as possible in one day so it should be fun and frantic

from marilyn. hello sweetie. you look as if you are having a ball. and im so glad that you have fulfilled one of many of your dreams. ifeel happier now that you are with ange although it doesnt appear for me to have been at all concerned. miss you like crazy. todd eventually has been voted off dancing on ice. it was painful to watch!hope the tan is coming on nicely.but make sure you cover them boobies. love you lots XX
