Chawalai and I riding a tuk tuk.
The beaches in Thailand are cool the water is so warm compared to home. I chilled at the beach by my hotel a few more times and the water was so warm even at night. Me and some other guys made sand barriers to protect our fort well after the sun was down and when I went back into the water to wash my hands I couldn't believe how warm it was. I went back to Phuket a few days later. Said goodbye to Moo, wasn't sad at the time but now I kinda am I never even took a pic of him or with him, thought it wouldn't be manly at the time but now I regret it. Oh well it's off to Bangkok for New Years. I came back to the city on the 27th or 28th and just slept and ate til new years eve. New year's was cool I was surrouned by strangers from myspace who later became really good friends. I first met up with Chawalai at a mall then we took one of those crazy tuk tuks to Khaosan Road to meet up with Kyosuke and Kevin and some other girl. The majority of the

people at Khaosan Road are foreigners and it was pretty crazy that night. We chilled and chopped it up at some bar and ate some food. Chawalai is from here Thailand, Kyosuke from Japan, and Kevin from Scottland. They were all cool and alot of fun to hang out with. We bought these huge firework things that made alot of mess. It was the funnest New Year I ever had. later on after countdown there was af ight in the street. We saw some beer bottles fly and some girl holding a shattered beerbottle in her hand and whispering sweet nothings, I mean yelling bad words at a crowd. More bottles flew, Kevin, Kyosuke and I ran towards the action but then the weirdest thing happened. We saw like thosands of people from both sides just run away and Kevin Kyosuke and I and some other guys were like the only ones on an empty street. Kevin and I later talked about how in our countries usualy people would run towards the fight and see what's going on but here everyone ran away it was cool they cleared a superpacked street fast. Afterwards we went to some crazy club along

the road. Some guy saw my California id when I was goign in and was so happy to see me so we talked about our state for a little bit he's cool I miss him. Downstairs everyone was dancing it was crazy, upstairs had people drinking crazy as well. But the craziest thing happend upstairs. Awhile back I used to go on this site to read other people's blogs for tips on travelling and thailand. There were these two sisters from Canada. I was chilln sippin on my sizzurp when I saw this girl who I knew I saw in my life before. At first I was like impossible, then I saw another girl go next to her and I was like oh crap. I went up to them and asked them if they are on travelblog.org and sure enough it was them. I was so blown away that I drank a few beers and did the mambo number 5 because it seemed like that was the only song playing that night. Partied til 5AM with the set then went back to my hotel and crashed. Pretty tired sorry I didn't write much. Tommorrow I'll be going to some of the old ruins in Ayutthaya. Happy New Year everyone!

Hi this is Dennis and Elliott, we're leaving on December 17th to Thailand in search for a retreat, adventures, and select activities. The original reason I wanted to go to Thailand was the movie "The Beach" starring Leonardo DiCaprio, and from that moment on I made it my mission to go to that beach and asked Elliott if he wanted to come. Also if I get accepted into CSULB as a transfer student next fall, this will be my last 6 week winterbreak I'll get from going to a community college so I wanted to do something with the time I've been given. ... full info
