Right so ive decided to stop breaking down the trip by days, the novelty has worn off! also things have gotten a tad less hectic since china! So we arrived in Thailand into bangkok and got a taxi to a street near Khao San Road where we found a lovely hotel with a rooftop swimming pool and settled ourselves just in time to get ready and head out on the town. The next few days took the same pattern, sunbathing by the pool, food, out on the town etc etc....A few highlights in the middle were facials (absolute heaven!!) and massages (i got a thai one which was basically her just standing on me and bending me into pieces....i had to say Ow! at one stage just to make her stop!!) and a tuk tuk ride (we fitted 6 of us into one tuk tuk meant for 2/3 people...it was on the way to a nightclub after a few buckets too many....need i say more!!). We shamefully did nothing cultural, we were just wreaked from sightseeing in China so needed the break. we'll have plenty of templed to keep us busy over the next few weeks anyway! We had to wait a few days as we'd sent off our passports for vietnamese visas so that took us until saturday evening when we got the night bus to Changmai......

So sorry ive no photos worth talking about up yet.....the connections are so slow here its painful! we have loads tho so as soon as i can ill put them all up and ye'll be overdosed!!
