Bangkok, part 2- Hello all-Sah-wa-dee-ka!! So we have gone to Nong khai and back for orientation which was awesome!! Learning lots of Thai language, culture, even had a cooking lesson! Tons of fun going to market, ordering food in Thai and cooking with Thai teacher who knows little English, but very helpful and friendly! She is a great singer-went to Karaoke with group, 4 thais, 1 Australian, 1 Swedish, 1 Holland girl, 1 French/Vietnamese, 1 Lao girl (Laos-country north of Thailand), very entertaining to say the least! Small private room, lots of singing in Thai and English! Good times, good times! In Bangkok, waiting for overnight bus ride to our school placement in Southern Thailand-Ao nang near Krabi. Should be there by tomorrow, Tuesday morning at 10 am. Rode overnight train last night from Nong khai to Bangkok, 14 hours, sleeper train. Each of us had an upper sleeper, with very little room, no privacy, except for curtain between you and all others on train. Sight seeing today-more beautiful temples! Too many Thais in Bangkok trying to feed off tourist, although we have met many very nice, kind, friendly Thais! Ready to head South! Will update with pictures when we can. Right now using internet in a mall, first one we have seen here and paying by the minute! Thai time, little English, I know!! More later! Hope all is well! Talk soon! bye bye!
