Loved this blog!
We have a similar push-pull relationship with going back to favourite places. We now have a self-imposed 5-10 year no-return rule... it doesn't always work, but it makes us stop and think. A lot of what you said about returning to Bangkok/Thailand resonates with me. Thanks for the dinner bus idea - I think we would love it! Although we were in Bangkok in 2020, so have a few years before we can return :)
