The Rick Thomas Magic Show & Daechon Beach with the Boom Boom cast!

So, oops...made a mistake....these are actually some more fun things we did in the month of May. Enjoy!


The Rick Thomas Magic Show: Starring Gretchen!!
Ironically enough, a childhood friend and fellow dancer - my friend Gretchen - came to Korea for about a month last month. She was performing in "The Rick Thomas Magic Show" at Olympic Park here in Seoul (as well as a few other locations), and coincidentally was staying only about 10 minutes away from our apt. in Gangnam! Well, this was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with her, as we got to go out and share a few meals, as well as ice cream at Cold Stone together! We also got to attend her show and had a great time there as well.

To Gretchen: Thanks for finding us out here and for getting us tics to the show! We had a great time going out with you and your friends, and actually, wish you were all here for longer. Hopefully, we'll all catch up in Michigan (or Vegas) someday very soon!!!


Daechon Beach with the Boom Boom cast!
These photos are from a weekend we had down in Daechon Beach (where the famous Korean "Mud Festival" is held in July), with my cast from "Boom Boom Musicland." Here, we all shared in a delicious barbeque, played some games, had a dance party, gave some speeches (our thanks to everyone we worked with), and then ended the night with some fireworks and soju. It was a good time had by all, and of course, a nice way to end our season!

Well, that's really all from May now. Next up...some adventure tours we did with a foreigner - tour company here in Korea called "Adventure Korea." At the beginning of June, we took a ferry / caving day trip...and just last weekend, we went to North Korea! Stay tuned...
