Chicago was a monchromatic array of black overcoats, grey sky and airport, shite sleet..Seattle was crisp and sunny, a bit of snow, the Cascades blinding in the sunlight.
As soon as we boarded Asiana, the difference was obviious. Mostly Korean passengers, Korean the first language, Happy New Year in Korean on the TV screens, bi bim bap for dinner (delicious rice, hot vegetables, ground meat combo). One more flight, to Hanoi, and we are at our first stop!
