We are on our way. Today we began our day just like any other day. We began by sewing our patches on to our packs. One for Canada and one for South Korea. Our plan is to collect patches from each of our destinations. Giles has become an expert craftsman at the art of sewing. The packs are stiff and shiny because they have not been used for any other function than sitting in our closet.
Last night we celebrated our departure from Korea in a big way. We started by having dinner and drinks at a local pub in Seoul. We ended over tears and a few Polly's Kettles. For those of who have not had the luxury, they are Soju and Kool-aid cocktails served in halved two litre bottles. Yum, yum... We just got a call from a friend who also participated in this ritual. He failed to mention where he ended up at the end of the night.
Giles and I ended up in a brothel located just down the street from the bar. We were curious. It was.....kinda like chicken. Giles, myself, and two friends entered ordered a beer each. After about 5 minutes and much gawking we left. Now I know.
Saying good bye to our friends and students has been the hardest part about leaving Korea. We will miss them.
Tomorrow, we start our travelling adventure!! We are on to Shanghai where we will be meeting up with our friend Phil. For our friends in Korea: "We are so sad to be leaving." For our friends and family in Canada: "Warm up the barbeques and buy some GW! We are comming home!!"

Onwards!
Very few remember where they end up after a brush with Polly's Kettles, as I can attest. You're lucky. Is this the same Kiwi Phil from our school, or a different Phil?
