We arrived by train to Busan in the evening, and grabbed a taxi to our motel. Upon arrival at the motel we realised we did not have Ronans camera! We think we must have left it in the taxi.

The next day we stopped in at the local police station to report the camera missing. That was an experience in itself as we sat down at a table with 6 Korean girls who were having lunch and between them, they managed to translate for the police. We spent the afternoon wandering around the busy area of Seoymeon.

After two nights in Busan we decided it was about time to do some sightseeing, so we visited Jungang Park and then Yandusan Park in Nampodong, which is where Busan Tower is located. It is 120 metres tall and gave us a good view of the city. After stopping for lunch we had a wander around a few of the local markets.

The next day we visited the U.N Memorial Cemetary, which contains 2,800 graves of U.N soldiers from 16 nations who died in the Korean War. The site is beautifully maintained and also contains a small museum. Afterwards we walked

down to the pier and organised our ferry to Japan and our Rail Passes.

The next morning before boarding our ferry we wandered around Jalgachi Fish Market, which was fascinating to see. This is the place to come if you want to buy a live octupus or squid or just about anything else that can be found in the sea.

Next stop Hiroshima...
