No problems getting out of Heathrow and arrived safely in Singapore yesterday. Hot and humid but enjoying the sights and sounds of the far east for the first time.
Today we spent the day walking around China Town and the colonial districts. We have just been out for a nice Thai meal in Clarke Quay, a trendy area by the river.
More sightseeing tomorrow, and maybe a couple of hours by the pool! Then on to Cairns, Australia on Saturday night/Sunday morning!

Clarke Quay
Dave - what you appear to have forgotten to mention is why you went to Clarke Quay: okay it is nice, and some good restaurants and bars....but it is also the home of the Singapore branch of your all time favourite bar. Hope you enjoyed the sights !
