First, let us apologize for the lack of activity on our end. The last 11 days were spent relaxing with friends and family and to be honest we got lazy. Since reading about us watching TV, reading, and eating are probably not the most exciting, we will summarize the highlights from the last 1.5 weeks in this blog and the next
After Thailand, we headed off to Singapore where we were hosted by Cheri's cousins Sujay and Puneet and hung out with our friends Jason (ex McKinsey) and Mansi (Cheri's undergrad and high school friend)
We arrived in Singapore on March 25, and met up with Jason at Clark Quay for dinner. The next day was a lazy start after the back to back full days of sight-seeing in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand with a visit to the famed Bugis and Arab streets for souvenir shopping, a visit to the Asian Civilization Museum, a walk around the amazing Merlion Park and Marina Bay, and dinner with Sujay and Puneet.
Our last full day in Singapore was spent at the Zoo, which was probably one of the best we have seen. They animals are up close and personal with
limited barriers between you and the non lethal critters. We finished the day with dinner with Jason and dessert with Mansi.
Overall, was a great couple of days, and we would not be surprised if we visited this "fine city" again!
