So apparently I am here just in time for the Hungry Ghost Festival, which includes burning paper money, offering food and a slew of suspitions. Since Singapore is over 75% Chinese you see people everyone who have piles of ash in front of their houses and on the streets... And you don't get fined for lighting the fire either!
