We have a few hours to kill in Singapore airport, and I've managed to fix my Eee PC by buying a new mouse Grrr (the touch pad went crazy locking the PC up!). It has been a few days since our last entry, but we haven't been lazy, well not too lazy 😊

On Thursday we went into Singapore where we went to the Raffles landing site and had a boat ride along the Singapore river. Then we set off for our Singapore slings in Raffles. The posh bloke on the door wouldn't let me in the lobby as I was wearing shorts, so was Debs, but this didn't seem to bother him! We could go in the Long bar though so we went there and had our drinks and peanuts, remembering to drop the shells on the floor! On the way back we went along the famous shopping street, Orchard Road, and then through Fort Cannin Park where Debs got bitten several times by some insect and hasn't stopped moaning about them since!!! Then on to Boat Quay for food. Stupidly I ordered crab and I definitely got that, a whole one including nut crackers and plastic aprons as it was a very messy meal. Needless to say you won't see that photo on here!!

Friday we had an afternoon on a Sentosa beach followed by the night safari at Singapore Zoo. Unfortunately it took longer than we had anticipated and we ended up rushing back as our Island closes at midnight, but we still had time for dumplings & a tiger beer in Chinatown.

Today we have been lazy, just slobbing around pool before coming to the airport to fly to Bali

PS got my tripod back btw!
